Bummer.

Well, Daddy deployed this week. It's been rough. Apart from the earsplitting screaming (ah the joys of colic...Ain't motherhood grand?) our nights are very quiet and lonely. Bella has protested Mark's departure by carrying one of his slippers to the various locations where she wrecks havoc--most notably the diaper pail parties she's been having. It only took sleep deprived Mommy three times to learn to close the "nursery" door at night.

Wee Biscuit, (not-so-wee) has been suffering from some gastro-intestinal shenanigans this week, hence the toe curling screams. The doctor suggested feeding him some prune juice through a bottle...Right.

Apart from his general disdain for rubber nipples of any kind, the lil' guy reacted about as you'd expect for having eaten nothing but nature's sweet nectar since he came down the pike and subsequently being confronted with a glass of prune juice.

The laundry is still soaking, I think it'll come out eventually.

Just so you know, Mark did arrive, finally, at his destination safe and sound and is currently getting up to speed on his job. He's been great about sending a note when he can so we know he's Ok, but we miss his big, furry presence here at home.

That's about it for now. Stay tuned, more to come...
